It took the rags to riches mom, Makeva Jenkins, just two years to work her way from homelessness to financial success. Late Wednesday evening, she reached out and wrote the following post on FaceBook: “I’m in awe of how far I’ve come … Fast forward to now: We overcame being homeless in 2013/2014 to reaching my six-figure mark in 2015…” Early Thursday morning at around 2 a.m.—barely two hours after that post—a masked man knocked on the front door of Makeva’s home in Palm Beach County and fatally shot Jenkins. Relatives fear Facebook posts led to murder.

Wife Killed For Changing FB Status To Single
26-year-old Sarah Richardson decided to move back in with her parents after separating from her husband, Edward. She then decided to change her FaceBook relationship status from “married” to “single.” Apparently, that was crossing the line. Edward snuck into the house and stabbed her to death.
Ex-Wife Murdered To Stop Child Support FB Posts
Adam had had enough of his ex-wife, Lisa, posting about his lack of child support payments on FaceBook, so he decided to beat her with a hammer and slash her throat. And, as if that weren’t enough, he left her body for the couple’s five-year-old son to find the next day.
Man Kills His Friend for “Poking” His Girlfriend
Poor Richard Rovetto, 29, made the fatal mistake of “poking” his friend, Scott Humphrey’s girlfriend on Facebook. Later, in a cab on the way home, Scott, 27, repeatedly punched Richard, then pushed him out onto the ground. Richard died when his head hit the pavement.
