THE BUNDY SECRETS: Hidden Files Of America’s Worst Serial Killer, is a book that every person interested in Ted Bundy should have, and here’s why: When I was researching and writing my biography of Ted Bundy, The Bundy Murders: A Comprehensive History, my primary sources were interviews I conducted with those involved with the case, and the thousands of pages I’d obtained directly from the official case files. And I remember thinking, as I was writing the biography of America’s most infamous serial killer, how unfortunate it was that the average reader will never see what I’m seeing from the original case files that were, at the time of the murders, highly classified and only seen by the investigators. The very best I could do (and this goes for all biographers), was present the information pertinent to the case and what particular event I was writing about.
Of course, I knew I was leaving behind valuable information that could not be included, for to include It would mean we’d have to reproduce the case files word-for-word, and that can’t be done when writing a narrative nonfiction true crime book like The Bundy Murders.
Therefore, what you have in THE BUNDY SECRETS is quite unique, because in the history of publishing books on Ted Bundy, NOT ONE BOOK has been devoted to the case files themselves. Here you will read the most interesting files from the case, in the same way the detectives mulled over them as they hunted the elusive killer. Not one Bundy biography, not even my own, is devoted to showing you the case files unedited; case files that are both raw in their presentation and extremely revealing. As such, this book is a must-have book for all students of the Bundy murders.

I would like to get the three books as ebooks, as we are moving to a much smaller space. My question is, are the photos and illustrations included in the ebooks? So many do NOT include them… What a disappointment!
Thank you!

Hi Julianne…
Yes, the photos are indeed in the eBooks. I believe there are 37 photos in The Bundy Murders alone. And I know that the trade paper copy of my book, Vampire: The Richard Chase Murders, has a good number of pics in the book. However, in the eBook edition there are many more photographs (these are the ones I took when I was in Sacramento) and they’re all in color. 🙂
