Steve Jackson – True Crime Author

WildBlue Press was formed out of the conversations between Steve Jackson (a New York Times bestselling author of true crime, crime fiction, thriller and history) and Michael Cordova (a technology and online marketing specialist, founder and President of 21st Century Technologies, Inc., past CTO of Well.org and past CTO and founding partner at Mercury Leads). They were a couple of college buddies who recognized that the publishing world was changing–traditional publishers were making it tough on “working class” authors (those not named King or Rowling) yet rising above the “white noise” of the self-publishing world was an immense obstacle for authors suddenly expected to “do it all” themselves in addition to writing.

When asked why, if this is such a good idea, traditional publishers don’t do it, their response is: “They can’t. It’s like asking dinosaurs to become mammals because the climate is changing. They have big buildings, large staffs, transportation and storage issues and, to be quite frank, they haven’t treated mid-level authors very well.” WildBlue Press is our answer to the challenges of 21st century publishing.

WildBlue Press is an A-Z indie publishing company formed by a consortium of bestselling and award-winning authors with “rising stars” providing widely acclaimed stories as well. Instead of waiting on the whims traditional publishing companies, our authors decide what they want to publish and when; then we take it from there.
